About Your Order – How To Contact Us

General Order Information.
All orders are sent via USPS with tracking. You will receive an order confirmation email containing your order number and USPS tracking number. If you place your order by phone, please write down your order number and save it in a safe place, as we use this number to look up your order information.

Shopping at NFGM

Placing Orders or Questions About Orders.  The best way to place an order is via our online store; however, we also accept phone orders during our regular business hours.   If you have questions about a product or need help placing an order, our friendly staff will be happy to help you.  Our Customer Service/Order desk phone number is 310-278-9820.  If you leave a voice message, please allow at least 2 business days for a response.

Order Confirmations.  An order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided when you created your account in our store.  Confirmations are usually generated with 15 minutes of completing the order; however, for some customers, it may take several hours.  Some customers have trouble receiving confirmations at all, usually because their Internet Service Provider (ISPs such as sbcglobal.net, earthlink.net, etc) is blocking delivery or due to local settings on their computer or mobile device hindering delivery (see tips below for ensuring delivery of emails from us).  You can always print an order confirmation at the time your order is completed online, or you can log into your account at any time and download or print copies of your orders.  If your order was paid using Amazon Checkout, please log into your Amazon account to view your order history (we do not have access to your Amazon account).

Order Fulfillment/Shipping Confirmation.  Typically, orders are processed within 2 business days (excludes weekends and all major holidays).  We will send a shipping confirmation containing your order number and USPS tracking number to the email address associated with your account when your order has shipped.  All orders ship via USPS (with delivery confirmation).  If you place your order by phone, please write down your order number and save it in a safe place, as we use this number to look up your order information.

Payments, Coupons & Shipping

Your credit card or payment account will be charged when your order is placed.  The charge will appear on your credit card bill as "The Rifleman, Beverly Hills, CA."

Checkout option 1: Shop Securely using North Fork General Merchandise Checkout.  Purchases made in our online store will be processed via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. (Look for https:// at the beginning of the url address, for example: https://www.therifleman.net/store/ .)  Credit card information is not stored on our servers.  We will never send you an email directing you to a website to enter your credit card information.  Never put your credit card information into an email. 

Checkout option 2: Amazon Checkout.  For the convenience of customers who have an Amazon account, purchases of products on this website may be paid by selecting the Amazon checkout option.  Amazon's payment policy applies to purchases made via your Amazon account.  Please note that not all of our products are currently available at the Amazon store. You also cannot "buy" our products in the Amazon store and add them to your shopping cart started in this website.

Coupons.  Periodically, we may send our mailing list subscribers promotional coupons valid for limited duration.  Important! Be sure to apply discount codes in the shopping cart before proceeding to checkout.   Discounts cannot be applied after proceeding to our checkout or Amazon Checkout (we regret the confusion, but we cannot suppress the coupon prompt in Amazon Checkout).  To join our mailing list, update your profile, or opt-out please sign in at: http://bit.ly/1bkA1In (we use this short url to replace the insanely long address).

Sales Tax.  We are required by law to apply sales tax to orders from California.

Shipping/Handling.  Use our online shopping cart to place orders that can be shipped to addresses in the contiguous United States.  Shipping rates are based on purchase amounts (see tiered rate structure below) and are applicable to orders shipped within the United States.

  • $3 shipping for all purchases up to $24.99.
  • $5 shipping for all purchases between $25.00 and $49.99.
  • $7 shipping for all purchases between $50.00 and $74.99.
  • $10 shipping for all purchases between $75.00 and $99.99.
  • Free shipping for all purchases of $100.00 or more.

Orders are shipped via USPS (with delivery confirmation) from Beverly Hills, California.  At this time, we are unable to ship orders to APO/FPO/DPO Boxes or to addresses outside of the United States.*

Orders for stock items are generally processed within two (2) business days (i.e., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) after payment has been authorized.  Delivery typically occurs within 3–7, but please allow 10–14 days for delivery, especially due to weather or during the holiday season, and allow 2–3 weeks for delivery of autographed prints.

* Orders outside the US.  If you would like to place an order to be shipped to an address outside the United States, we will be happy to process your order by phone, but additional shipping charges are applicable.  We cannot guarantee a delivery date.  Customer is responsible for customs/duties charges, and we cannot be responsible for any parcels that are held by US customs or a foreign entity, nor can we be responsible for parcels that are returned.

Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final.  At this time, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges unless the items you receive are either incorrect or damaged.

If we shipped you the wrong item, or your item arrived damaged, we will replace the incorrect or damaged item at no cost.  If we cannot replace the incorrect or damaged item, we will refund the total order cost (i.e., purchase price plus shipping and tax) to the credit card or payment account used to place the order.

You must complete the following steps to receive a replacement or refund for any incorrect or damaged item:

  • Notify us by phone or email of the error or damage within 10 days from the date you receive your order.
    Please include an explanation for the return (i.e., the product arrived broken).

  • Phone: 310-278-9820 (Mon-Fri, 10:00am-3:00pm PST, excluding holidays)
  • Obtain a unique return ID code from LGL Licensing for your return.
        ·   We will provide your return ID code within 2 business days of receiving your notice.  We will advise you about covering shipping cost of returns at the time we issue a return ID code.
        ·   Keep a copy of the return authorization number in a safe place as you will need it to track your return.
        ·   Write the return ID code on the invoice/packing slip included with your order.
        ·   Ship the invoice (with return ID code) and the damaged or incorrect item back to us in the original packaging (i.e. boxes, bubble wrap and/or mailers) at the address provided below within 10 days of receiving the return ID code.
  • Returned items must be in new condition (i.e., DVDs must be unopened and still in their original plastic wrap).

Please note that we will not accept returns or issue replacements for items that are sent to us without a valid return ID code.

Please allow at least 14 days to process your return.  In the event that a refund is issued, please allow 2–3 weeks from the shipping date for your account to be credited and 1–2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions set forth here supplement the Terms and Conditions for this website, including the online store ("North Fork General Merchandise"), which may be accessed at: www.therifleman.net/terms

Dispute resolution.  If you have a problem with an order, we will endeavor to resolve it in a reasonable time period, typically within five (5) business days.  If a refund is forthcoming, LGL Licensing will charge back the purchase amount to the credit card used to make the original purchase, including tax and shipping charges, typically within 14 business days (it may take up to two billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement -- we have no control over this.)

By using our shopping cart and completing a purchase transaction, you accept the terms and conditions set forth herein and agree to give LGL Licensing LLC the opportunity to resolve issues related to refunds, replacement or exchanges prior to you ("the customer") dispute charges applied to your credit card with your credit card issuer.

Unauthorized DVDs: How to Spot Illegal, Pirated DVDs of "The Rifleman" Series

Levy-Gardner-Laven Productions has been notified of many unscrupulous DVD sellers who are trying to rip-off fans of "The Rifleman" by offering illegal, pirated and poor quality copies of the series.  Please beware of DVD offers that include any of the following:

  • Claims that "The Rifleman" series is in the public domain.
    "The Rifleman" series is NOT in the public domain and is currently protected under U.S. and international Copyright law.  Levy-Gardner-Laven Productions is the sole copyright owner of "The Rifleman" series.
  • Offers to sell "the complete series" or "all 168 episodes" of "The Rifleman."
    There has never been an official or legal release of all 168 episodes of "The Rifleman" series.  Any products that include all 168 episodes of "The Rifleman" are illegal and pirated copies of the series and are likely poor quality copies recorded from television reruns.
  • Offers to sell large quantities of "The Rifleman" episodes (i.e. more than 25 episodes in a set).
    There has never been an official or legal release of large quantities of "The Rifleman" episodes, except the Official Season 1 DVDs of "The Rifleman," which was released by Levy-Gardner-Laven Productions on December 4, 2013 and is available exclusively on the official website at www.therifleman.net.  The largest legal release of "The Rifleman" episodes previously are MPI Home Videos' boxed DVD sets, which include 20 episodes per set.
  • Offers to sell copies of "The Rifleman" DVDs that come in paper sleeves without official packaging or artwork.
    While many pirated and illegal versions of "The Rifleman" series do contain official looking packaging and artwork, DVDs that come in paper sleeves are almost always pirated and illegal copies.
